ADEGA, is the first and only Michelin-starred restaurant in San José, California. Meaning wine cellar, ADEGA is a Portuguese restaurant representing authentic cuisine at its very best. Simple but elegant food is perfectly complemented by the restaurant’s smart casual environment. We serve fresh fish and seafood alongside a selection of salted cod and meat dishes. Our key to success is our modern approach to old classics and using the best ingredients available seasonally. Our wine room offers a selection of more than 500 of the best Portuguese wines.

We offers two different menu experiences:
- A regular Classic Menu, which offers the option to select your Starter, Main Entrée and Dessert
- A 7-course Chef’s Tasting Menu
You may join us at our bar without a reservation and enjoy our dishes alongside our designed and classical cocktails
Our wine list consists of more than 500 wines from Portugal only.
If you rather bring your own wine, we have a corkage fee of $50 per bottle (regular 750ml size bottles ONLY please)
